What’s Happening this week

How do I love my library? Let me count the ways. February is Library Lovers’ Month and we would like to hear all the reasons why you love your Sarasota County Library. Is it free access to the Internet, checking out the latest bestseller, or downloading an audio book to enjoy on the road?

Perhaps it’s bringing your children to the library for Story Time and other school readiness programs. Maybe it’s receiving One-on-One Tech Help from a Librarian for your electronic device, attending an art lecture by Baila Miller, participating in a book discussion, or any of the many other lifelong learning activities offered here at the library. Whatever the reasons, we ask that you please share them by writing a Library Love Note to our Sarasota County Commissioners. Love Note cards are available at all service desks within the library.

Join the staff and Friends of the Elsie Quirk Library as we celebrate Library Lovers’ Month. We will send all the Love Notes we receive to the Sarasota County Commissioners, to thank them for their continued support.
