The Sarasota County Library System provides a fantastic variety of databases that can be accessed both in the library as well as right from the comfort of your home computer. During May, we would like to offer you the opportunity to experience a one-on-one training of the database ReferenceUSA. That is how valuable we believe you will find this particular resource. Reference USA is the leading provider in business and consumer research. Visit any of the Sarasota Library Branches for a special demonstration. The information provided by ReferenceUSA is most commonly helpful to small business owners, job seekers and students. It is also very helpful to individuals wanting more information regarding a specific community that they may be considering a relocation to or simply need some helpful statistics on.
A formal training will be offered at the North Port Library on Thursday, May 5 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. If you would like to visit the database at anytime, you can do so by going to www.referenceusa.com and entering your valid Sarasota County library card.
