The Summer Reading program isn’t just for children and teens. Join us for a lively book discussion of the title, “The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins. Obsessively watching a breakfasting couple every day to escape the pain of her losses, Rachel witnesses a shocking event that inextricably entangles her in the lives of strangers. This psychological thriller is sure to not disappoint, with over 3 million copies in distribution and a major motion picture set for release in October, 2016.
We will meet on Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 am in the conference room. Please inquire at the Reference Desk or Circulation Desk if you need assistance obtaining a copy of the book. Sarasota County makes every effort to provide titles in a variety of formats including large print, audio CD, eBooks, and downloadable audio. Participants are encouraged to read the selected title and join the group for discussion and further expression of their personal insights. All are welcome! No registration is required.
