Aug. 5 – 11 EVENTS
AT THE ELSIE QUIRK LIBRARY

Did you know that you can get FREE music downloads through the library?

Freegal (free +legal) Music is a free music service provided to you by Sarasota County Libraries. Freegal offers access to 13 million songs and over 40,000 music videos. Freegal’s collection includes music from over 100 countries, legendary artists, trending hits and labels and Sony’s Music catalog. You can browse music by artist, genre, video, top singles, top artists and more. You will be able to download 5 songs per week for free. They will be yours to keep, transfer, burn to CD, etc. Music videos are also available for download, but one video will count as 2 of your 5 download credits. You can also create playlists in Freegal or export music to iTunes, Windows Media Player or the media player of your choice. Again, all Freegal downloads are free and yours to keep!

To access Freegal all you need is your Sarasota County Library card and PIN. Visit the Sarasota County Libraries’ website, click on “Library Resources”, locate the “Research Help and More” link and select Freegal under the “Leisure” heading. You can also download the Freegal app for free to your Apple or Android device from the App Store, Google Play or Android Market. Search for Sarasota County Library System using a local zip code or city and state. It’s just that easy.
